CEO

Mr. Abdul Samad has been associated with capital markets for the last 10 years. He has been involved in equity sales in addition to heading the equity sales desks at a number of leading brokerage firms in Karachi. He enjoys an impeccable reputation in advising and managing client portfolios both domestic and foreign. In the latter capacity he has dealt with a number of overseas fund managers. In addition, he is currently devising structured equity products. He has attended various seminars and workshops regarding capital markets and equities. He has worked extensively on the carryover and future market along with devising many related products for financial institutions.

Mr. Munir Issani has been serving Shajar Capital Pakistan (Private) Limited as Chief Financial Officer. He has been associated with the capital markets for more than 34 years, involved in the planning, coordinating and directing the operations, functions, transactions and activities of the whole organization. With both practical and innovative approach to financial management and problem-solving, Munir brings a range of skills and attributes to Shajar Capital team. Key areas of expertise include influencing and negotiating finance, commitment to continuous improvement, implementing tools for managing a growing business, strategically mitigating cash outflows, implementation and monitoring of management information systems, capacity to develop consistent results and at all times ensuring a value-adding methodology is maintained Mr. Munir has also served on multiple roles with different organizations /companies. In past served as “Corporate Member of Stock Exchange”, Head of Operations, Independent Director, Corporate Member of PMEX as COO & Head of Sales & Manage high net worth clients, CEO in Dawood Equities Limited, Head of Settlements/Branch Manager. Performed duties as a Manager Operations / Senior Trader, Manager Settlement/Accounts & as a settlement officer.Attended various session of CDC Pakistan.
